Terms & Conditions

Last updated: OCT 27th, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("you" or "Customer") and Ht Trade LLC, doing business as Off to Clean ("OFF TO CLEAN," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you use our website, offtoclean.com (the "Site"), request a quote, or book home or commercial cleaning services with us (the "Services").

By using the Site or booking Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not book with us.

You must be at least 18 years old to book Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and they apply to bookings made after that date.

2. Our services

OFF TO CLEAN provides residential and commercial cleaning, including recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and office cleaning.

What's included. Each service includes the tasks listed in its checklist on our Site or in your quote. Anything not on the checklist is not included unless we agree to it in writing (text or email counts).

Add-ons. Extras such as inside the oven, inside the fridge, or interior windows can be added when you book, for an additional charge. We may not be able to add tasks on the day of your clean if there isn't enough time.

Commercial clients. If your business signs a separate service agreement with us, that agreement controls wherever it differs from these Terms.

Website content. Our logo, text, photos, and other Site content belong to OFF TO CLEAN. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are estimates. Your quote is based on the details you give us, such as home size, number of rooms, condition, and the type of clean. Please give us accurate information.

If things are different on arrival. If your home or business is larger, dirtier, or more cluttered than described, or has extra rooms we weren't told about, we will contact you before doing extra work. You can choose to:

  • approve the extra time at an updated price;

  • have us clean only what fits in the time booked; or

  • reschedule for a longer visit.

If we can't reach you, we will complete what fits in the booked time.

Deep, move-out, and post-construction cleans. These cleans can take longer than expected because conditions vary. If more time is needed, we will ask you before going over the quoted price.

Price changes. We may update our prices from time to time. Changes never apply to a clean you have already booked and confirmed, unless the booking details were inaccurate.

4. Booking and payment

Booking. A booking is confirmed once we confirm it by text or email.

Payment.  Payment is due when your clean is complete / We charge the card on file on the day of your clean. We accept credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor.

Commercial clients. Invoices are due within the number of days stated on the invoice.

Failed payments. If a payment doesn't go through, we may pause future bookings until it's resolved.

Payment disputes. If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first so we can fix it. We may pause service while a chargeback is open.

Sales tax. Where required by Minnesota law, sales tax will be added to your invoice.

Tips. Tips are always appreciated and never expected. They go directly to the team who cleaned for you.

5. Cancelling or rescheduling

We save time on our schedule for your clean, so please give us notice if your plans change. Text, call, or email us to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the appointment.

Recurring cleans. The notice period applies to each appointment separately. Cancelling your recurring service won't result in a fee as long as you give notice before your next appointment.

If we need to reschedule. Sometimes we may need to reschedule because of severe weather, illness, emergencies, or other things outside our control. We will tell you as soon as we can and find a new time. You will never be charged a fee when we reschedule.

6. Access to your property

Arrival times. We give you an arrival window instead of an exact time. Traffic, weather, or earlier jobs may cause delays, and we will let you know if we're running late.

Getting in. Please make sure we can get in at the scheduled time. This includes accurate door codes, keys, lockbox codes, gate or building access, and parking instructions. You must be the owner, tenant, or someone authorized to let us into the property.

Lockouts. If we can't get in within 30 minutes of arriving and can't reach you, we may treat the appointment as a late cancellation.

Keys and codes. We keep keys and access codes secure and share them only with the team members assigned to your clean.

7. Preparing your home or business

To help us do our best work, please:

  • pick up clutter, clothes, and personal items so we can reach floors and surfaces;

  • secure or put away cash, jewelry, medications, firearms, important documents, and fragile or high-value items;

  • tell us about pets, alarms, rooms we should not enter, and any surfaces needing special care;

  • keep pets secured or away from the area being cleaned if they may get in the way;

  • make sure running water and electricity are on.

If water or power is off and we can't clean, the late cancellation fee may apply.

8. Safety and what we don't do

For the safety of our team, we do not:

  • clean biohazards, including blood, bodily fluids, human or animal waste, needles, or mold remediation;

  • clean homes with active pest infestations or hoarding conditions;

  • move heavy furniture or appliances, or lift items over 25 lbs;

  • use ladders above two steps or clean exterior windows above the ground floor;

  • do repairs, handle hazardous chemicals, or clean anywhere unsafe.

We may refuse, pause, or stop a clean if conditions are unsafe, very different from what was described, or if anyone is abusive, threatening, or harassing toward our team. If this happens because of conditions you didn't tell us about, we may charge for the time spent or a late cancellation fee.

9. Cleaning supplies

We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment. If you would like us to use your products, such as for special floors or because of allergies, leave them out with instructions and let us know in advance. We are not responsible for damage caused by products you provide.

10. Our satisfaction guarantee

If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

How it works. Contact us within 24 hours after your clean and tell us which areas weren't cleaned to your satisfaction. Photos help. We will come back and re-clean those areas at no extra charge, usually within 72 hours.

If you're home during the clean. Please point out any concerns before our team leaves so we can fix them right away.

What the guarantee covers. The re-clean covers the specific areas you report, not the whole home again. It covers only the tasks included in your booked service and add-ons.

What it doesn't cover:

  • tasks that weren't part of your booking;

  • areas we couldn't reach because of clutter or restricted access;

  • conditions you didn't tell us about when you booked;

  • free or promotional cleans, and areas that were already re-cleaned.

Refunds. Our first remedy is always a re-clean. If a re-clean doesn't solve the problem, contact us and we'll review a partial or full refund case by case.

11. Damage and breakage

Our team works carefully, but accidents can happen. [If insured: Off to Clean carries general liability insurance.]

Reporting damage. Tell us within 48 hours after your clean. Please include photos and a description of what happened. Unless it's an emergency, such as a leak, please don't repair or replace the item before we've had a chance to look at it.

How we resolve it. If the damage was caused by our team, we will choose a fair fix: repair the item, pay a reasonable repair cost, or pay the item's current value (after normal wear and age). We do not pay for sentimental value.

What we're not responsible for:

  • damage that existed before our visit, or normal wear and tear;

  • items that were already broken, loose, poorly installed, or not suitable for normal cleaning;

  • damage caused by products you asked us to use;

  • cash, jewelry, or valuables that were not put away;

  • damage caused by your pets.

Photos. Our team may take photos before and after a clean to record existing conditions, check quality, and handle any claims. We will never post photos of your home or business online without your permission. See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Respect for our team

Our team deserves a safe and respectful workplace. We may end service with any customer who harasses, threatens, or discriminates against our team members.

13. Texts, calls, and emails

By giving us your phone number and email, you agree that we may contact you about quotes, bookings, reminders, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply. We will only send promotional messages if you agree to receive them, and you never have to agree in order to book. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

14. Reviews and feedback

If you leave us a review or testimonial, we may share it on our website or social media with your first name and city only. If you'd like us to remove it, just let us know.

15. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • our website is provided "as is," and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free;

  • we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or time off work;

  • our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the clean that caused the claim, except for property damage handled under section 11.

Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility where Minnesota law does not allow it, such as for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

You agree to be responsible for losses caused by false information you give us, or by unsafe conditions at your property that you did not tell us about.

16. Resolving problems

Talk to us first. If you have a concern, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved with a quick conversation. Give us 30 days to try to resolve it before taking any other action.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any legal claim will be handled in the courts of Dakota County, Minnesota, including conciliation (small claims) court where it applies.

17. General terms

  • Whole agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and your booking confirmation make up the full agreement between you and Off to Clean.

  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

  • Transfer. You may not transfer your booking or these Terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer them if our business is sold or reorganized.

  • Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, illness, or other events we cannot control.

  • Electronic communication. You agree that texts and emails count as written notice.
